ABOUT MARLEY
Where it all started...
Marley has been dancing since she was two years old. She started out by taking a ballet and tap combo class from her first dance teacher, Joan Moyer, who was a retired Radio City Rockette. Marley always looked up to her teacher, and now being a Rockette is one of Marley's biggest goals and dreams. Dancing has always been her first love and a huge part of her life.
Tappy Feet !
Don't be fooled by this picture... Marley has always been a happy tapper! Tap has always been Marley's favorite style of dance, whether it's rhythm tap or musical theater. She loved having many tap leads, like playing Shirley Temple (seen below), and competing many tap solos with her home studio. At OCU, Marley has loved getting to take tap class every semester, as well as extra rhythm tap classes when she can fit them into her busy schedule. She has performed in many tap dances with the American Spirit Dance Company, and cannot wait to keep on tapping for the rest of her career!
